Visit the Monastery of Chozoviotissa

The top sightseeing place of the island is the Monastery of Chozoviotissa, built in the rocks, where the visitor will have to climb 300 steps, but the view he will meet in the end will reward him.

The monastery is open all day from 09.00 to 13.00 and in the afternoon from 17.00 to 19.00 it is compulsory for men to wear long pants and for women a long dress as well as shoulders and hands covered.

Below the monastery, 5 minutes away by car, there is the beach of Agia Anna, where the famous movie, “The endless blue” was shot.
